LAURA KURILLA: Owner/Instructor/Resident Mermaid

Laura believes that we are all capable of healing ourselves through doing the work from all angles - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. With a background in dance Laura knows what movement has brought to her life and has also seen what it can do for others. She has been teaching Modern dance for over 20 years and has 35 years of performance experience. In 2009 her love for movement as a means to express emotions led her to find the Nia Technique, a unique blend of yoga, dance, and martial arts infused with emotion and childlike wonder. This fusion fitness practice opened up a whole level of healing and in 2011 Laura became a certified Nia Technique While Belt Instructor.

In 2018 while trying to get out of her comfort zone she attempted her first Aerial Yoga class and fell deeply in love with the practice undergoing teacher training and certification in early 2019. Through her own Spiritual Awakening and healing from an Autoimmune disease over the last 10 years Laura found her way into energy work, meditation, crystals, oracle cards, and sound healing and now offers all of these services as classes, workshops, and one on one sessions to others.

She is here to help you on your journey to be the best version of yourself and to come home to your own uniqueness.

MEET OUR TEAM:

Jamie Jantz: Instructor

Yoga had found Jamie at an early age but it wouldn’t be until she was much older that she would experience the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual transformation that takes place when you open yourself up to all the healing aspects Yoga has to offer. This ancient practice empowered her to not only overcome addictions and disabilities, but freed her mind from limiting thought patterns. After receiving her RYT200 from Mission Yoga, she decided she wanted to share her passion for yoga with anyone hoping to heal and survive the hardships of being human or perhaps just step outside their comfort zone and explore a new practice. It is her pleasure and honor to share this journey with you.

Dawn Vinciguerra: Instructor

Dawn is a registered yoga instructor with additional certifications in Yoga Anatomy and Creative Sequencing. She is a board-certified art therapist and holds a certification in plant-based nutrition. Yoga has been instrumental in her recovery from a decades-long eating disorder, as well as managing everyday stress. Dawn has worked professionally with a wide range of students and clients and truly believes yoga is a path to healing, is art as movement, and a way to experience joy in both mind and body, and tries to convey these themes in her classes.

Linda Williams: Instructor

Linda's journey with yoga began in January of 2023 when she ventured into a beginner's aerial class. After years of being unkind to herself, she had found a way to repair her relationship with her body and learned to trust it and herself again. Linda dove into her practice and completed her 200 hour teacher training in January of 2024 and is also a Reiki I practitioner. Linda endeavors to guide the non-yogis to their mats by creating a safe and inclusive space.
